Lakefront Promenade Park.  This Park is a blast for youngsters. There’s a full splash pad water park where kids can cool off on warm days. Besides that is a sandbox which is every kids dream. While strolling on the leisure walkways you will always come across someone feeding the ducks or fishing.

Mississauga Valley Park. This is a great fun place to go. Not only does it have nice trails, but there is always a ball game going on and who wouldn’t love watching a good old baseball game. Even better if one decides to bring their own delicious snacks and have a small family picnic. There is also a splash pad for kids to chill off.

Erindale Park.  It offers a variety of activities for almost all ages, such as skiing, cycling, walking tails, playgrounds for kids and even a tobogganing hill. There are a few family picnic spots and an amazing view of salmon running in August at the North end of the park.

Kariya Park. This Japanese garden is located in the heart of Mississauga. It features a large metal maple leaf structure, 8 rocks with Canadian native petroglyphs, bear sculpture in a canoe called “The Water Road” and a bronze bell hanging in the pagoda which signifies friendship between Japan and Canada.

All kinds of artists' concerts are held in Mississauga and a lot of people keep a tab on them. One of the most popular places to hold concerts is the celebration square. Celebration Square has something or the other held almost every other weekend especially in the summer owing to its open air arrangement.

Another of the very important concert places is Hershey center located in the heart of Mississauga.
